This day has been kinda relaxed and fun. I got to spend time with so many friends which was very good. AND then I let that evil Tasha in and negative thoughts are all I can hear. I feel so good about myself one minute and then the next I just can't seem to figure out why?

*Why can't I buckle down and lose more weight?
*Why do I struggle so much with school when I want to be an English teacher?
*Why am I single?

I could go on and on and complain on why my life isn't the way I want it to be.

And then I realized, my life isn't going to change by complaining. As long as I keep on praying and trying my hardest to be happy and find the good in all things, then hopefully those *why's* will become *why not*.

Of course those negative thoughts will linger inside my head and until I make them change, then they will stay there. But the amazing thing about those why's, is that they are so easily changed.

Bunco

Yes, bunco. Tonight my aunt invited me to be a substitute for one of the ladies who missed on their group bunco. I have always wondered on what bunco was and how it was played. The first round was kinda difficult and that was just because I was getting used to it. By the end of the night I was a pro, well not really... I got the prize of lowest score haha. But it was still so much fun.

I'm blogging about this because I would LOVE to get a group of 11 ladies together to have a monthly bunco night. If you are interested in joining leave me a comment and I will let you know what goes down. I think it would be so much fun and just have a night to relax and hang out with some friends.

Life recently

I realized that I haven't blogged about my pathetic life recently. So I decided that I would keep my followers updated.

My amazing and wonderful Aunt Colleen past away after 21 years of fighting 5 different cancers. She was always an inspiration to me and will continue to inspire me. I will miss her but I know that I will be with her again one day.

I decided to take some summer classes to get closer to my associates degree and I FINALLY passed math. Woohoo. That was my third freaking time taking that class. I am an English Education major and have never been good at math. So I have just one more math and one more science to take and I will have my first degree. Then I can focus on my future of being a teacher.

I'm loving loving loving my new singles ward and the great new people that I have met and getting closer to. Church is so much more fun and I feel like I get so much more out of it when I am surrounded by amazing people.

I just got back yesterday from a weekend vacation to St. George, UT. It was a much needed get away after an intense beginning of the year with school. I loved being out under the hot sun surrounded by my friends and mom. It was a good mini vacation. Hopefully in either August or September I will be going on another vacation to California.

The 4th of July is next week and I'm so excited. I love being with friends and family celebrating and watching fireworks. It's such a fun time. I love it!!!

I miss you Aunt Colleen

This week we lost an amazing woman who fought 21 years battling 5 different cancers. I am so grateful for the last words we spoke to each other were "I love you" as I was leaving her house. On Sunday we celebrated my Nana's 98th birthday over at my Aunt Colleens and everyone was able to go into her room and give her a kiss; she was lucid but still alive.  Wednesday night I get a call from my mom telling me that Aunt Colleen had died.  For the first half hour it didn't seem real but once we got to the house and I saw her pale body, I knew she was gone. There was this peaceful look on her face, and I knew at that moment she was pain free and was with my grandpas in heaven. I will miss her there is no doubt about that, but I am so grateful for eternal families because I know one day I will be able to see her again.

I miss you Aunt Colleen and I love you!

San Diego, California. I hope to one day either getting married and sealed in this temple or visit it with my future family. I can't explain the joy and blessings the temples have given me in my life; especially recently.

I guess you can say that I haven't really changed much in my appearance except for my hair.  I'm one year older and just a little bit closer in getting my degree.
