I am horrible at blogging. Life has been so crazy these past few months. Most recently I've been helping my cousin/best friend/roommate out after a sea doo accident at Bear Lake 2 weeks ago. What happened was the guys who we rented the sea doos from said for the person behind the driver to hold on to the drivers life jacket. The waves were pretty choppy because wind was picking up, but that didn't stop us from going fast and having the best day of our lives. Well the life jacket had had enough and when we hit a certain wave my life jacket snapped and my cousin fell off backwards. Now I don't think many people know this but the force of the jet stream coming out of the back of the sea doo is very powerful. My cousin got blasted so hard from the jet stream it tore through her skin and intestine. She has an infection from the lake water, had to go through emergency surgery, and was in the hospital for 6 days. She is still in much pain and can't really get back on her feet just yet, hence why I am helping her out. The moral of the story is be careful if you ever get on a sea doo. Luckily the season is ending ha.
Other than that incident, life has been pretty good. My puppy Breezy Mae is getting so big. She's now 15 weeks old and getting bigger everyday haha. I finally feel like I'm going to be heading in the right direction of my life and that is a really good feeling. Life will always be hard and have it's challenges but at least for now I feel like I have control over my life and I haven't felt that way in a very long time.
I really need to start making some changes in my life though and become more healthy. I know I talk about this all the time and how this time will be different and how tomorrow I will do something different. BUT this time is different haha. Ever since the accident with my cousin which has been very difficult for me, I finally feel like I'm going in the right direction of my life. With that being said I have done better on my eating habits. Now my next challenge is to start working. Ah wish me luck.
Until next time.
Xoxo, Tasha
