Day 18

Day 18 - Plans/dreams/goals you have

*Plans- I plan to finish getting my Bachelors in English Education and move on to teaching English to Jr. High or High school students.

*Dreams- I dream to one day be as amazing as my great grandma and return to my Heavenly Father.

*Goals- To finish college and get a really good teaching job. I want to get married one day and start a family. 


*Happy Thursday* It's almost the weekend...WOOHOO! 

Day 17

Day 17 - Someone you would want to switch lives with for one day and why


If I could switch lives with someone for one day I would switch them with my Great Grandma, or as I call her "Nana."  She has lived the most extrodinary life and has the BEST memory.  Yesterday I was over at her house with some familly members and she was telling me about a few things that happened when she was in second grade.  Now I'll add that my Nana is 97 years old.  She is my idol, inspriation, and most amazing woman ever.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I should probably list what I'm thankful for more often and not just on Thanksgiving.  That will be my new goal and I will work towards that.  But since today is in fact Thanksgiving I would like to list things that I am thankful for:

*My amazing, wonderful, supportive, and crazy family.
*Friends, whether you are new or old, I'm so thankful for you guys putting up with me and my craziness. 
*The gospel that I have in my life today. I need to work on my faith but the church has always been there for me and I'm so grateful for my Heavenly Father.
*This great nation that we live in and for the men and women fighting for us.
*My education and one day the education I will be teaching young ones when I become an English teacher.
*The roof that is over my head and the food that fills up the cabinets and fridge. There are those all over the world, even in Utah, who have nothing and I'm so thankful for everything that I own.
*I'm grateful for my working car that gets me wherever I want to go. I'm lucky to have a car since my 16th birthday and not a day has gone by that I have not had a car. I'm truly blessed.
*Music, you change and lift my spirit.  I don't know where I would be w/o music in my life.
*The art of dance which changed my life dramatically and helped shape into the person who I am today. Dance still to this day changes my life.
*I'm so very grateful for my job. Even though I'm just the receptionist, I know that I can do so much at Cirque Lodge. I love being able to see people change because of recovery.  I'm truly blessed to witness miracles.
*I'm SO grateful for the rooms of NA and the recovery that they have given my mom. I wouldn't have my mom back if it weren't for NA and the wonderful people.  Not only have you changed her life, but you've changed my life. I owe you everything and I love you.
*Of course I'm so grateful for this wonderful day where I can get together with my family and eat so much food that we ALL have to unbutton our pants and get away with it!

I honestly don't think that this is appropriate...I feel as though if I wanted to write a letter to someone who has hurt me recently, I wouldn't write it where everyone can read it. Thank you anyways.

Day 12 - How you found out about blogs and why you made one

I found out about blogs from reading one of my friends' other blogs.  I never really knew what it was when I first started but the more I found out about blogs I fell in love.  I love being able to write down my thoughts and show pictures.  I feel as though my blog is my journal, just not as personal.

Sara Bareilles Concert

My first concert I ever went to was when I was 5, ever since that time I've gone to many many concerts! Sara Bareilles concert has been by far the best one I've been to. She was FANTASTIC! She has such an amazing voice and kept the audience interested by talking to us, having us sing the songs with her, telling jokes. She was just pure amazing! Best time!!! Here are some pics from last night.
