I went to Park City this past weekend and saved up a lot of money, but only used some of it. That makes me feel like I'm learning money control.  Woohoo

Day 08

Day 08- Short term goals for this month and why.

1. Pass all of my classes- because it would suck if I didn't pass.
2. Start running at least 4 times a week- I think it will help my anxiety and depression if I run.
3. Start my creative Christmas presents- I thought it would be fun to hand make all of my Christmas presents this year, at least for all of the adults in my family and I need to start soon so I don't rush through my projects.
4. Spend more time with friends- Beauce they influence my life so much and I need them to be apart my life more often.
5. Laugh more- You live longer if you do haha.

Have a great Sunday night!!!

Day 04

Day 04- A habit you wish you didn't have.

I'm a nervous nail biter and I hate it! If I'm in a movie and it starts getting really intense, you bet I'm gnawing at my finger nails.  It's something I've tried to stop; I'll even grow my nails out really long, then I'll go to a movie and the nails are no more.  I've tried getting acrylics but after two weeks I've torn them off.  Oh well, old habits die hard right?

Sara Bareilles

Going to this concert in a few weeks!! So excited

Sunday, October 31, 2010

I was asked by a friend, "What is your opinion with finding true happiness in life?" I sat in my chair pondering this question for quite some time.  What in my life makes me truly happy? And if there isn't anything, how can I find it? Back in high school I was involved with dance and that truly made me happy; but since graduation, I have stopped dancing.  I love to listen to music and it makes me happy, but does it me make truly happy?  There is one thing in my life that has always been constant and will be there for the rest of my life, and that is my family.  They make me truly happy.  But how to surround my life with true happiness? Love, marriage, starting my own family? These are questions I find myself asking everyday and I still haven't reached my answer.  I know there are a lot of things in my life right now that make me happy, but I guess I'm just ready for that one thing that does make me truly happy.

Pink Lemonade

I was having lunch with a good friend of mine and I went to take a sip of my pink lemonade and the lid to my drink came off and my drink spilled all over me!!! This wouldn't have been so embarrassing if there hadn't been a guy walking right past us the exact moment the lemonade spilled over me.  He said something really "funny" but I didn't really listen because I was kind of in shock that what just happened, actually happened.  Trying to get over the fact that I was now wearing my drink instead of enjoy drinking it, my friend was laughing her butt off.  Well I guess we all need a good laugh here and there to remind us to just laugh at the little things.  Once I got past the shock I laughed as well and my day suddenly turned around! Thank you Pink Lemonade

Past and Present

Recently my family and I got the opportunity to go and see "The Lion King" up at Capitol Theater. It was AMAZING! One of my new favorite musicals. I personally am a HUGE musical geek. So to have this one be one of my favorites is saying a lot haha. Who all went was me, my mom, Kodei, Alex, Dixie, and my Grandma. It was so much fun getting all dressed up and spending the night listening to great singing and watching amazing dancing. Here are some pictures.

Then my little cousin Kodei posted some pictures on Facebook from when we were kids,
I thought I would share them.

9/11/01 Where were you?

Today we remember the day when our country was changed forever. On 9/11/01 I was in 5th grade at Rees Elementary in Spanish Fork, Utah. I had walked to school that morning and had heard the bell to line up for your class. As I was standing in line, Skyler Hardman came up to me and my friends from class and told us that he just heard the Twin Towers had been hit by two planes. At that time I was so young I didn't know what the Twin Towers were, but I was very scared. We all went into our class rooms and Mr. Ballard (my teacher) taught us of what the Twin Towers were. The rest of day we sat in our chairs watching the news. They kept showing the towers falling over and over again. I remember sitting in that little chair just crying, because I knew many innocent lives were lost. That night our president at that time George W. Bush had declared war. I went to bed sobbing, so scared for our country. Nine years later and we are still fighting over seas. I'm so grateful for those men and women who sacrifice their lives each and everyday for our wonderful country. 9/11 was a terrible day, but the good that came out of it was our country was brought closer together. I am so thankful for America and to live in this beautiful country. GOD BLESS!!
